Replacing the front lower control arm bushings on a 2012 Range Rover. These bushings wear out over time and cause vague steering, clunking over bumps, and uneven tire wear.
Yes, you can press these bushings out with a threaded rod tool. However, in all honesty it took me about 45 minutes per control arm. Grease, Heat and a hammer most certainly help, in that order. But for the price, it can’t be beat. I think this may be the 4th time I have done this job across two different L322s.
